About Darling Botanical Company

Located at 144 Hall St, Traverse City, MI 49684, Darling Botanical Company operates as a florist serving Traverse City in Michigan. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Florists in the United States range from neighborhood flower shops with a walk-in cooler to studio designers who work only by appointment for weddings and events. Most retail florists build arrangements to order, deliver the same day when you call before early afternoon, and belong to a wire network (FTD, Teleflora or BloomNet) that passes out-of-town orders to a local shop. Ordering from the shop directly rather than through a national website usually means more flowers for the money, because no order-gatherer takes a cut. Flower markets and wholesalers sell loose stems and bunches, often early in the morning, and many now open to the public. Flower farms grow seasonal blooms such as dahlias, peonies and sunflowers and sell by the bucket, by subscription or as pick-your-own.

No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. You can reach Darling Botanical Company at (231) 421-8440; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, darlingbotanical.com.

Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 87 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded florists in Traverse City.

I stopped here when trying to get last minute flowers for 5 mothers the day before Mothers Day. I was looking for corsages, but my real plan was something everybody could wear that was hands-free. The staff was helpful, and ultimately sold and provided me with all of the materials to make what I needed myself. This made them even more special as a gift to wear. Thank you so much, I was even able to make a couple of extra arrangements for neighbors whose family live far away!

This is a really special place! Woven together here are a lovely curation of plants, trinkets, toys and gifts, a relaxed peaceful atmosphere, and the warmhearted joy that radiates from the owner and employees. If you have spent the time to browse the charm, pick and pot your own plant at their soil station, or just chat with the wonderful people this place draws in, then you already know what I mean. Best plant shop around :)

The best plant place inTRAVERSE CITY.YEars of experience and a very interesting spectrum of gifts, plants, flower arrangements and personal interaction with a delightful young lady. Hoping that owner( Megan) is able to continue providing such great and interesting service to her patrons. A 5+ business.

They have some rather interesting and diverse botanicals and gifts. I was looking for an array of air-plants which they have, much to my delight. I'm sure I'll be back, as they offer some unusual plants and I understand they will try to custom order plants too! Below are the air-plants and wall basket I had purchased at Darling, the wood organizer I made.

Oh my gosh! My husband and I love this place! We were on vacation and bought so many plants and pots from here! We were so lucky we had driven here so we could make the purchases. The woman working was so sweet. She even planted some of the ones we bought that we had also bought pots for. It’s such a cute place too!
